Inland Sea Transmitter Event tomorrow Thursday.... Game on!

With 2 salmon left for the main lake goal Graham and Miles will be over in Willsboro with the NY DEC Wednesday evening to get the last two when they electroshock the bay in their annual survey and hit the target of 20 salmon with transmitters in the main lake. Last year 15 were shocked for the transmitter study. 7 Willsboro 8 Whalon's all shocked fish. It's great we have provided 18 of the 20 this year by the fisherman! Graham and Miles landed 5 salmon on Ric's boat the last trip out and had a blast!

Now we are switching the focus to the Inland Sea with a Thursday event planned with 20 needed for transmitters. As of today I have 5-6 boats that may make the gig. 3 boats certain 2 others will know based on their work schedules Tuesday if they can sneak away from work. Graham will be at the dock at 11 am to check in the live salmon to add transmitters.

If anyone else wants to participate the hope is to get this done in 5 hours. If not get a big chunk of the fish needed done. Last year all 15 salmon were done in 5 hours in late November with 4-5 boats. This year 20 to implant is the goal.

Bad weather now for Thursday... I will ask Graham today to see if he can be there for Friday and Saturday... Noonish? There is interest in several boats to fish both days. TBD I will confirm later today.

Too bad I can't fish tomorrow, weather looks perfect for a salmon bite!
I plan on taking my Mistress out for a date this Saturday, I will reach out to Graham if she finds us some salmon.
