Fished out of converse with Dave Farmer and Steelie Joe on Saturday. What was predicted to be a calm day was 10-20 south with white caps. Plans to motor 15 miles south were quickly modified.
We crossed and setup 3 riggers 2 slide divers and a 7 color lead rod to throw a mixed bag at em.
Salmon and lakers and lots of food today… followed with small mouths and more food.
At 10 we switched to a warm water program with deep diving stick in in line boards once the salmon bite slowed… that provided some huge small mouths to play with.
Biggest salmon hit in a green taped stinger blank spoon with silver back…
Thanks Joe and Dave for the day and good to see there is still enough water to motor out of converse without hitting…
Fish on!

Way to make lemonade out of lemons Matt changing plans due to the S. blow, and thanks for the report along with launch lake level conditions! Gotta love our weather service’s ability to be consistently inaccurate, especially with the wind forecast. I think they like to mess with is fishermen! Gonna fish both today and tomorrow, still waiting on my mate to gather up her stuff, but like she says, she never catches a fish until after 9 am anyway

Nice! Those bass look huge. I'm getting hungry just looking at your grill presentation!
See you on the pond!
