Launched out of Converes Bay state launch on Monday at 945am. We found a cell phone in the water 4 feet down the ramp. It still worked at the time we found it. If it’s yours let us know and we will get it to you.
On a better note the fishing was pretty good. Fished from 10 am until noon right around split rock. Salmon were caught 53 feet down. Blue moon and Minckler each caught two.
We celebrated our granddaughters and grandsons first salmon by having lunch at the “old Dock” in Essex. I highly recommend this restaurant, they open at noon, prices were fair and they have a lot of boat parking

Thanks Todd! I found a phone in the surf zone of Monterey Bay several years ago while fishing for Stripers. Dried it out, turned it in, and it was re-claimed by a woman tourist who had ben walking the beach earlier that morning. I hope the same happens here. Blessed to get the grandkids out onto their first salmon! Who better?!! Glad to hear the Old Dock is still worthy of recommendation!

We brought the phone to the Vergennes Police department after a day with no responses from social media.
