Gunsmith recommendation
My age has slowed me down quite a bit, but I managed a couple of partidge hunting days in the NEK and I hope to do it again next year. I used my 20 gauge Remington LT 1100 which I bought used more than 50 years ago. I want to give this gun to my son-in-law or grandson, so I thought, after watching a couple of videos, that I'd take it to a gunsmith for a complete breakdown and cleaning including the trigger assembly which I have never disassembled to clean. Have the O-ring and the two main springs, magazine and recoil, replaced also. No repair work involved. Any recommendations for a gunsmith in the Champlain Valley? Reply to the board or PM me. TIA.

I've used the Power Horn in Williston. He does really good work.

I used Casco Custom Works in Hinesburg before duck season to get my dad’s 54 year old model 1200 - Winchester up and running. He was awesome. 802-349-6047. Hope that helps.
