For a minimalist experience my boat is on stand by, otherwise looking forward to fishing on my partners!

Hey Guys,
Thanks for organizing this again. It's always a lot of fun.
As others have posted, I signed up as a "no boat", but can change if necessary.
My vessel is open and can get a bit chilly early in the season. I may also be hard pressed to get it out for a shakedown run prior to the event.
I look forward to seeing everyone again getting another season underway.
See you then. Tim Bird aka:Early Bird

So you can see by the number of posts I'm sort of new here. I do have a boat and I did sign up with a boat. I'd prefer that I go on someone else's boat though or that someone with some good experience comes with me on mine. I've been fishing for about 50 years which only leaves a few that I haven't been in my life. I know lake Champlain fairly well I think I've hit everything that I could have by now. BUT I do not know where the salmon are and at what depths etc. So salmon fishing is new to me although like I said I have been fishing my entire life for species like Bluefish, Bass, Trout, Lake Trout etc. I do have down riggers and and some electronics so really it's a knowledge thing that I need and am looking for. I am trainable as I learned how to use the toilet at an early age and recently learned how to pickup after myself. So someone who wants to dump some knowledge would be a perfect fit for me even though I know it's a random pick.

Welcome aboard dw61!!! Either way you go, if you launch from Converse and have a VHF radio, just turn to ch68 and you will hear what is working for speed, depth and lure colors... We are a bunch who like to share to get everyone on the bite!

What's the deadline before you do the drawing on the 10th?

Thanks.

Dean, due to a late planned trip to Lake Ontario the week before the derby I will not have a chance to do a shake down cruise on Reelax before the derby, so I had better go as "No Boat" for this time around to be safe...

Thanks,

I signed up as no boat but can easily break it out if needed.

I'm hoping to make to the drawing this year.

Fixed !

But there is a problem: more "No Boat" than "Boat"
