Willsboro water

Post by Fishinpole »

Fished Willsboro bay on sunday with as much boat traffic as I seen in years. Got a late start around nine and as we set up my Probe died and had to fish old school. We managed to get a number lakers and they were free of new Eel marks. We also landed a nice silver of 6 lbs and a short throw back. Fished came at 75-90 ft over 90-120 fow. With no fleas. Green glow HI Tech and hot orange did the best. Back at it Monday.

Catching any salmon in September is great, but a 6-pounder, wow !

How'd Monday go ?
I do not exaggerate when I talk about fishing - I underestimate, like I say "just one more cast honey, then I'll come home" !
Keep Calm and... Fish On !
