Navionics Mobile App?

Post by karl »

I recently heard that Navionics has lost their contract for Champlain data for mobile apps.

I'm looking for a high definition, raster chart for all of Champlain that will run on an iPad.
If not Navionics, some other company. Navigation such as route planning would be nice, too, but would just be icing on the cake.

Has anyone had the Navionics mobile app an lost Champlain coverage inthe last six months or so?

Anyone? Andre?

Thanks everyone, glad I heard wrong.

Btw, does coverage extend into the Quebec part of the lake, or stop at the border?
If it stops, how does it show that you've crossed the border (perhaps inadvertently?)

When I 1st download the Navionics App, I have downloaded Canada and US lakes and if I scroll the lake Champlain I see the border and I have the Richelieu river and all the lakes and the St-Lawrence river and the border is clerly visible
