The trend continues with 2-5 boats out the last 10 days. Just amazing! Today there was Will Nolan / Reelax / Reggie / Us. This was our 10th trip out this month!
We started at 9:15 am and fished till 4:15 pm. Chris and Mike were on-board again today. We started out very slow until things started improving by Noon time till 4 pm. The salmon were scarce today landing two plump fish about the same size on both sides of the lake. 20 plus LT landed and 35 bites. Sunny 6 out of the first 7 hours and light winds. Spectacular day to be on the water!
Yesterday completed our 10th trip in January for us after 7 trips in December. Some amazing trips and great conditions! An astounding 90.5 hours with the rods in the water (5.3 hours per trip for December and January!) After run and setup time to and from the dock stripped out.
The big freeze is coming this week that might just end our warm frostbite run for the new year until the next thaw in February maybe? Or at least March!
