Flat calm tour of the southern lake

Launched from Converse at 1st light for some scouting with Heijac and Homewrecker. Headed south out of Converse and water tempS were 54 on surface.

No details due to shoot out shortly. Salmon and lakers bite well, proablly half salmon and half lakers by the time the counter reached 17 by 2pm.

Menu started with breakfast danishes followed by a morning snack of bacon wrapped scallops. We finished the bbq fair with some marinated lamb chops that Dean provided. If you have never had lamb chops on the lake your missing an experience.. all 3 times I have ever had lamb was in the boat and every time the little T bones are like finger candy.. OMG so tasty.

Riggers, slide slide divers and lead core all fired. One set won the best set competition, will let you know after Nov 5th which won:)

We covered 30 miles on the lake in about 7hrs. Good to talk to Country Angler and Northeastern on the radio. Hope you guys found good silver, they aren’t all up rivers;)

Thanks for the ride as always a good time on REELAX. Good to fish with Randy first time in a while. The best part was seeing first hand the destruction of a tall Beaver!
