Thanks for organizing the DYP again this year ! Last year was a blast, and we're looking forward to this years event.

I've signed us up as a family team.

Country Angler, Dilly Worm, and AmFishFil Thinking, I have a nice trophy to give out to the youngster 16 or younger that catches the Longest salmon (or brown, or steelhead). Not the biggest fish landed on the boat, but the biggest one caught by the child. In the event that no one catches that target species, it will go to the Longest lake trout. Just take a picture of the fish with something that measures the length or you can bring the fish to the BBQ. I look forward to seeing what those future anglers can do! Best of Luck all.

Has anybody seen this?

SATURDAY...South winds 15 to 25 knots, becoming southwest and
diminishing to 5 to 15 knots. Partly sunny. Waves 2 to 4 feet,
subsiding to 1 foot or less.

2 ft waves my 17.5 ft Lund can handle. 4 ft I won't launch. Hopefully the subsiding will be early.

I don't know how I missed this. Well, I do, I miss tons of stuff that is right in front of my face. But in any case, that's really cool.

We've entered so many tournaments and derbies and have never won anything. Its not why we do it obviously, but, it all part of the fun. Here's fingers crossed for the Country Angler finishing top ten in this one!

Its looking like Spinach Artichoke dip and crackers from us at the BBQ. Maybe cheese balls, or maybe a chowder. Not sure, shopping for that tonight. All depends on what Mama is willing to help us out with.

Yeah, guess we won't really need the VHF tomorrow. I'll just yell over to you guys as we all pass each other over and over in whallon and converse.
