Mckee Craft with new 90 hp 4-stroke outboard, downriggers, bimini etc

Post by OCVT »

Unsinkable Mckee Craft sporting a new (less than 20 hours on engine) 90 hp 4-stroke Mercury. T/T Model is a Southporter - dual console. Open bow with full wrap around rail before the console. The choice of game wardens in southern states for decades. Used for ocean bay fishing up to 10 miles offshore. Comes with Garmin fishfinder, two Cannon electric downriggers, bimini top, nice trailer with LED lights, fenders, life vests, two new batteries (may need charging. Been under cover all winter) and automatic bilge pump. Hull is 1985, 17' 4". Holds up to 1,600 pounds. I drove this boat from Point Bay to Otter Creek in 6' waves on Lake Champlain a year ago. (Operator error trying to time a storm!) and the boat never dipped, rolled side to side or took on any water even though the prop was catching air at times trying to find get over cresting cross seas. Charge the batteries and get out there. Engine sips gas. Trolling at 1.9 or 2.2 is no issue. No need for sea bags etc. Boat get on plane fast too. Floor and transom good. Hull has a few dings and the epoxy is here to touch up. Just weather not cooperating. Nearly a full tank of marine fuel (stabilized last fall) too. Outboard install alone was more than $11,500. Take boat, motor, trailer etc - all for $15,200. Email with full name, town/city and a phone number and I will give you a call to discuss. Thank you.
