Some days you remember more than others....
Today will be etched into my mind until I move on to the trolling set in the sky...
The day started with a pin ball ride down my driveway and having a special friend in red pants get Reelax outta the ruhbarb at the bottom so we could fish...
Well it wasn’t that easy. As we needed to assist a fellow fisherman with the snowy and icy launch and frozen boat on trailer. But the good news is before 9am we had 2 boats launched and searching for salmon.
Well Santa fished hard and was pulling in lakers like they were elves toys. He even did a little rap to give us luck...

The bait looked good at 100 ft and we had lots of smelt being spit up by the slimmers Santa was landing for hope of salmon...
Notable thing that happened today on the water was that Santa reeled in 3 different sets of lake trout on cheater and down line for a total of 6 fish off 3 releases... never seen that before... nice work Santa!!! A rare fishing tripple double!!!

All in all we had a very active day and maybe broke a record for the grilled courses
