My son David temporarily moved to the West Coast last year.
He lives on a 38' boat anchored in the bay in Vancouver,BC, with his 2 rescue cats.
Last week, they got cold weather and 12" of snow.
He is now a West Coast Frostbiter

That must be great. The boat looks nice and clean... does he catch any fish over the side???

Re: West Coast Frostbite
He does not fish out of his boat but has many friends that love fishing. I visited him last spring and caught a nice salmon on his friend's boat before we had issue with the engine and took us almost 4 hours to get back to shore.
From his boat he occasionally see whales and otters. He also needs to beware of the eagles around as they will attack his rescue cats on the decks.
