18 years ago we were attacked and many, many lives were lost and families disrupted. Thereafter, many first responders, citizens and military have suffered. Today is a day to honor all of them. I have my own thoughts, as all three of my kids grew up in the shadow of 9/11 and all have since dedicated themselves to military service, but I commend and acknowledge all who have have fought for our freedoms, and those friends and family members who continue to support us!

I too have 2 sons in the air guard my oldest graduated from basic training in Texas on 9/9/2001 and we all know what happened two days later.
