Charters

Post by mudchuck »

Any Charter Capt's here want to PM me with info?
I've got a local wholesale distributor we do business with where I work that wants to get customers out for salmon/laker action and needs to know how many people can you take per trip, rates, dates available and the duration of the trips. Also looking to set these up as recurring yearly.
I offered to point them towards some of you guys for more details.

I did that long before asking publicly thru the forum...
VT side:

http://lakechamplaintroutscoutcharters.blogspot.ca/
2014 info, not been updated in a while.

http://www.fishvermont.com
current, but unclear if can take only 4 or 6 people, have call into voice mail, unresponsive so far about a week now

http://www.3rdalarmcharters.com
broken link bad gateway error

I know there has to be more than 3 charter operations for the VT side, hence the public request for info.

Will can you handle 6?
4-6 hours each, and recurring biz with perhaps 4-6 charters booked each year.
Not just lakers, but salmon/steelhead/browns too.

I personally fish 4 people. I dont fish salmon outside of spring. Not many captains will. Not enough of them. Rob Thorne would be your guy for salmon. Sounds to me like you need a big commercial troller like surestrike charters for large parties and just sit around the riggers. Good luck

Call capt. mick Maynard. Lake champlain angling. He has affiliates and could set you up for everything you need I'm sure. Best of luck.
