Picture taken from the end of our canal. This is part of the Jolly Roger amusement park.
Looking forward to see you all this Saturday. We are getting the Longfin ready for the White Marlin Open.

Re: Back in OC
I called Tom and also talked to lance, they were at the tackle shop with over a grand on the counter already... sounds like all is a go and there will be a crew gathering Sunday afternoon at the boat to discuss overall plans. Sounds like a boat can fish any 3 of the 5 days and you and I are both set to be aboard Monday if the weather holds...
I can’t wait... this is gonna be the tourney of a life time... 3 days of offshore action 50-75 miles off shore on that 42’ boat is gonna be a memory we will never forget...
Can’t thank you enough for introducing me to these amazing fisherman Gerry. They feel like family now... to think they have this boat parked at their town house... what a life
Fish on!

If you have a few millions lying around, you can purchase this little cruiser.

Re: Back in OC
Spent 2 hours in the bay with Longfin owners Lance and Tom.
They took me flounder fishing in one of their special spots.
Didn't take too long to get some keeper in the boat.
I landed 3 beautiful specimens between 19-20".

Re: Back in OC
Mostly in 9-12'.
It's a small location that not many people fish. Not a lot of bites, but usually always big ones.
Will try it again soon, maybe today.

Re: Back in OC
Sounds like your "In like Flynn"!!! Don't always have to travel "so far" for great action. I haven't been in a couple years, but we used to run down to the mouth of the Connecticut river where she dumps in the long island sound and hammer fluke, up to 10lbs and strikers like no other... Pretty easy trip. 2 hrs from the VT border. The most bait I've ever seen, and easy to catch. Bunker schools the size off football fields boil at first light in every eddy and harbor! Any sand flat from 15-30 fow held endless flounder. It really is amazing

Re: Back in OC
Friday, spent some time on the water with friends Lance & Tom and we went crabbing.
Ended up with close to 100 keeper crabs.
Last evening we had a great feast.
