I bought a grossly overpriced underwater ball speed/water temp device called Intellitroll by Cannon about one year ago. I have had horrible reliability with this unit. Have any of you had similar poor results with the Cannon unit? Did Cannon honor any subsequent warranty or refund?
I have heard many of you on the marine radio talking positively of FISHHAWK. Can you comment more on underwater speed/temp devices... I am currently monitoring speed with my GPS graph. Is this accurate?
Thank you
Cannon Intellitroll

Thank you Raz! Do you know if a fair priced pure digital temp probe is available w/o the paddle wheel speed gadget?

Re: Cannon Intellitroll
I did buy a cannon intellitroll and I had some trouble also, cannon did replace a defective part and not too long after the new one broke also but when it was working it was doing a very god job. I had a very good service with cannon so far.
