You can't catch them that way... you need to tie the grenade to the downrigger... the fish are still deep :lol: :lol: :lol:

That is insane! I sure hope they are not too badly injured. I know a guy from Corinth NY that lost part of his arm and pretty much all of his eye sight fishing a beaver pond with dynamite years ago. Explosives and fishing apparently do not go well together!

I think they just needed a slight more delay. Maybe one of those water soluble tabs they use on inflatable PFDs to release the trigger? But we won't be testing it from my boat.

Now, Bill, you know that back in the day a stick of dynamite was the lure of choice in the Maine woods. Probably the NK too. You could get a mess of Brookies real quick that way. Just need a long, waterproof fuse, a zippo lighter..... ;)
