Lost Downrigger???
I know its a long shot, but if anybody stumbles across a little Big Jon electric with the short 12" boom somewhere near Converse, could you give me a shout? Not even sure when it came off, could be at the bottom of the lake somewhere! Thanks...........

Whats worse, is I have no idea how long it was gone! I think I last used it with Raz, a month ago? My fault, theres just a little thumbscrew that holds them in, and I had'nt checked it in a while. Made sure the other one stays put though!

Can't help with finding it, but I have 2 manual big jons that were given to me that I don't really like, but keep as "spares" in case I lose or break one. If you want to borrow a big jon manual until you get a replacement, let me know.

Re: Lost Downrigger???
I was driving over to Oswego last year when a car pulled up beside me and started pointing back at my boat!!! I pulled over and found that the one of the pedestal mounts for my Manual Digitroll had broken and the downrigger was dragging behind the boat!! The only thing that kept me from losing it was that I'd tucked the end of the retro-ease cord into the rod locker and that kept the downrigger dragging along instead of losing it clean along with the probe for my Depth Raider which was on that rigger cable. That would have doubley sucked!
It was one of the old style 12" Cannon pedestals that they've discontinued. I've since gone to a traxtech track and a cannon aluminum 6" pedestals with new electric Cannons.
