well even with the scamdemic this year, fishing lake o this past friday and saturday completed at least one fishing trip on lake o every month in 2020.got out there friday afternoon and was able to get a couple hours in on a beautiful day.it was just shy of 60 degrees and not a breath of wind.we were able to put couple small browns in the boat and dropped a few.got out yesterday morning and it wasnt so pleasant!!!!!2-3 footers and a pretty stiff south wind.wound up 12/16,all browns and no picture worthy fish.highlight of the trip was when all six rods fired pretty much all at once!!!!!we wound up getting five of the six fish in the boat.i still dont know how nothing got broken, there was fish, rods, and nets everywhere!!!!!classic firedrill!!!!we covered 10 -40 fow with most fish coming in 20-25 fow.one fish came on a stick bait, all the rest on michigan stinger scorpions and stingers.

Nice report Jason. Not often do get 6 rods fire at the same time. Must have been a euphoric moment you will remember forever.

thanks for the post jason. do you think the browns would hit at the mouth of the river there this time of year. is your boat still there.

im sure they would hit matt, but i think cause the offshore lake water is so much warmer than the river water,i think thats holding the fish out in deeper water.my little boat is here at home resting in the pole barn waiting for some nice weather!!!!!all the lakes here have finally locked up,so its either champ or ontario for the rest of the winter.
