Loaner or reasonable engine hoist rental?

Post by TruViking »

Hello
I am swapping out my Hydrolocked Motor finally :o . I am doing it myself. Most likely I am going to build a gentry and use a block n' tackle, but I am also exploring the idea of renting a towable engine hoist to do the job. Choice #3 is to get ahold of a reasonable tow truck operator with a cherry pick for about an hour.
Does anyone know where I could rent a towable hoist or so.eone who has a tow truck or sm. Towable Crane that I can rent? Essex equip. is the only place I have found so far and they are pricey!
Lastly, I will. E in search of some used 4x4x12's or 6x6x12's or equivalent(if I decide to build the gentry).
Much appreciation in advance.
I am looking to do this tomorrow or the next!
I would be willing to trade(Generously) with anyone for anyone of these services(see classified for avail. Items
Thanks .for reading.

If you were closer I would let you use my barn with the chain fall from my lifting beam.

That's exactly what I am navigating as we speak
Only difference is I have to build a 12' tall gantry just to make it all happen!
My garage barely let's the Ass end of the Boat get near before it shits the door on her!!!🤣🤣🤣
