Arrived on Sunday and fished a few hours for 4 lakers. Launched in Converse daily. Monday and Tuesday we set out and headed South. Trolled all the way to Button Bay on VT side picking up lakers along the way. Surface was around 50degrees. Didn't find any breaks at all to 100'! Fished 2 riggers with cheaters and blades and 2 slide divers. From Button to Split Rock on NY side was a lure wash. Tuesday we started in Converse to Thompson's then across to Split Rock and Wallon's. Same water. Found a bunch of lakers in Wallon's. Most consistent bite was 34' down over 100'-130'. Any shallower or deeper and the bait disappeared. Again, tried NY side to Diamond then across to mansion to inside Town Farm to Thompson's. Zilch!
Wednesday we again started in Converse. Made a few passes from Garden to Thompson's. Landed some lakers and a couple of small salmon. Fished across to Split Rock and fished Wallon's for a couple hours. Landed 2 more small salmon and a bunch of lakers. Numbers wise our best day, about 15 or so lakers and the 4 small salmon. Best lures were CI Sausage gravr Milkshake, and almost any Stinger Scorpion in UV (I like the UV lures in the dirty water). Also in the mix, a junior watermelon mooselook UV.
All in all a good trip. Numbers were decent but really no size whatsoever. Leaving tomorrow as the wind finally managed to keep us away! Be back in June!

Looks like you covered a lot of water this week. The water is still crazy warm for this time of year so catching any salmon is a job well done.

Great Report :!:
You hit nearly every Sq. inch of the puddle! What was the Overall depth and depth the Lil' Salmon were hitting at :?: Also curious if you noticed any Fin-Clips or other Stock markings? And lastly, how were the lamprey wounds  (if any!)?

Thanks again for the Info.

Best,

Mostly all fish came at about 34'. I did notice some fin clips on the lake trout, but not on all. As far as lampreys, a few of the fish were scarred, but most were clean, a good sign!
