Willsboro water

Fished Willsboro bay and broad lake with guests from SC who never fished with down riggers. Targeted Lakers for more action and had a OK day despite the heat. Fish came on the bottom in 80fow and 75-90 in 140 fow. Sad to see large eels on some fish. No real big fish 5-8 lbs but company had fun. So far Fleas not a problem. Most of the time we keep 2 rods up for Salmon but so far very few and mishap with a very large Salmon at the back of the boat. That really hurt. Hope this new weather pattern helps. Good luck to all.
