Any one using larger lures like a Northern King 28 for lakers? Last few larger fish had 4 inch Alewives in them witch were longer than a NK 28. I might start running a few larger lures.

I always run big stuff when targeting lakers!! North port nailer magnum spoons are a must in my presentation! They must be all of 5”. Bigger the spoon the slower you can run and still get action.. Good luck out there!

Interestingly, the Lakers I caught on Saturday out of Westport were coughing up small smelt, the silvers were stuffed with four-inch alewives
