Willsboro Bay and beyond
Willsboro Bay and beyond
Had about 3 hours to fish, set Downriggers, 70ft down had 55 degree water. Wasn’t long before a rod popped with a small laker taking a sausage gravy. Continued north for awhile, then pulled lines and headed out of bay to a few marked spots on chart. Only an occasional fish on bottom, tried jigging with no takers. Back to the bay set the downriggers and picked up another small laker on the cop car spoon. Time was up so headed home.

You’re welcome. Found a few spots where on a given day lakers are large and aggressive. And if you stick to the bottom very few if any small fish.
Not a bad area to troll either especially east of Schuyler Island. Easy to run north/south direction and stay at a consistent depth.
