I don’t have a lot of time but I wanted to get something posted. Launched at converse at 5:30. Started at Whallons picked up a few lakers on slide divers around 30ft. All were 15-18”. I wanted to find something bigger or silver. Went around split rock headed south trolled to snake den. Picked up a few. 2 were on the same rod at the same time. Picked up and moved to the island north of the ferry. Got a few more. Decided to go back to Whallons to see if there was still action there. It was slow so we trolled over to Thompson point and trolled back towards Converse picked up a couple more. Including the best one we got on the day 24” laker. That’s were we ended. We were off the water at 4 picked up 17 for the day. Got them on all different colors and depths from 30-125. Had probably 10-15 releases with nobody home. My buddy with me is a newbie so I was happy to get him on some fish. He was happy to get the big fish to end the trip.

Nice pic Jacques. Looks like the lakers kept you and your buddy busy. Thanks for sharing your day.

Re: 6-19
good report, glad you boated a bunch of lakers. Were you fishing the LCI derby ?
Wind seemed to pick up in the afternoon so we stayed in the Otter Creek that afternoon. How were the waves out in Whallons and Converse ?

I do not exaggerate when I talk about fishing - I underestimate, like I say "just one more cast honey, then I'll come home" !

Not in the derby. The waves definitely started to get big. Was starting to see 3 footers. By Converse.
