Got on the water about 6 and set up about two thirds way out North shore. Picked up a big ball of bait on graph but no rods going off. Noticed one acting a little squirrely a few times so popped the rod and found a small laker tagging along. Headed east set up with bottom lines 30-40ft. Back into bay in Westport fogged dropped in. Started picking up bait here and there. A bottom line popped with a decent laker and popping the upper line for reset had another small laker tagging along. Did try Barber Pt area no luck there. Three fish , three different lures.
I put a Minnekota Terrova on the boat. It’s like having a silent fishing partner.

Re: Westport
I like your color choices thanks for the pics
Re: Westport
You’re both welcome. Lure choice? The larger spoon I’ve had a long time, can’t recall I ever caught a salmon on it but lakers love it. The “cop car” I hadn’t tried this season and the the sausage gravy? was new, it replaced a sausage gravy spoon that had most of the paint chewed off. I did try a small silver/blue flasher with a smelt streamer I tied. Also a silver green and red evil eye for awhile.
