Launch Ramps up north

Post by vtville »

Hello - Sorry for the non-fishing post....well, I guess it's a fishing post. I generally put in up at the state ramp at Dillenbeck Bay (18ft aluminum boat) and I have heard the water is VERY low. Last summer we got stuck in mud going out one day in August. Any idea how the levels are up there or up at the main launch by the bridge on 78?

Thanks very much for any intel. I appreciate it.

I haven't been on Missisquoi Bay since mid-April, but the lake is about 9 inches lower now than it was then. The ramp at the Route 78 Bridge is probably fine. Dillenbeck is a shallow, low gradient ramp and may be a PITA.

Thanks very much for the reply. I appreciate it. Hoping that main ramp on 78 stays alright for a while.
