Finally a morning to report!
Nothing big, but the action was rapid. Launched at 5 sharp. Set up right out of the ramp and watched the sunrise as we headed East. Business picked up at 7:10 and was active until 9 when work was waiting. 25 - 35 down - blue, copper, and purple all fired. Lost a nice 22-24" at the boat when it got too feisty for my daughters sleepy reflexes! Doubles just after 8 woke her up though.
Found the largest cloud of bait that I have seen in years and pounded it until things turned on! Surprisingly, this was a cloud like yesteryear which is a pleasant discovery. To think I had been excited about a few scattered balls of bait...
6/9 with a size range from 6" to the decent fish that we lost.

Wow you have earned the great bite up there. Great to see all the activity. I haven’t seen bait balls like that in 4 years...Its like old times. If the bait stays, so will the predators.
Thanks for sharing... Where is CHawk?? Has he made it up yet??

Nice. I have had a less than stellar y near with the eyes to date. That's encouraging! I'm in an older model center console tan Starcraft.
