Nice job finding fish on your first trip to Champlain. It is an amazing fishery. Reelax is right on, that salmon looks pretty nice! Did you get a length or weight? I also see you are experienced avoiding the slime from the lake trout. I'm sure you will run into some of the LCU members on the water.

what a great start you did very well . by the pics i know that spot and you were in a good spot especially for salmon. hope if you come back you will post on lcu and more pics love it.

All the ones in bags are for sale.
I live in wells,ny so the trip to Champlain is about an hour shorter each way than going to Henderson to fish Ontario.
I've also done quite well with this 1/2 oz spinner I've been making casting for bass.
