Left out of port henry

First time in Champlain, fished for an hour or so
Been painting lures for a bit now, they hit on this purple uv dream

How much did the salmon weigh? It looks very long...

Nice job finding fish on your first trip to Champlain. It is an amazing fishery. Reelax is right on, that salmon looks pretty nice! Did you get a length or weight? I also see you are experienced avoiding the slime from the lake trout. :D I'm sure you will run into some of the LCU members on the water.

what a great start you did very well . by the pics i know that spot and you were in a good spot especially for salmon. hope if you come back you will post on lcu and more pics love it.

All the ones in bags are for sale.
I live in wells,ny so the trip to Champlain is about an hour shorter each way than going to Henderson to fish Ontario.
I've also done quite well with this 1/2 oz spinner I've been making casting for bass.
