I’ve got a nice work schedule that allows me to get out midweek sometimes. Launched at Converse for the first time. I’m usually up north.
Water temps hovered around 42 until south of Button Bay then they climbed into the 50’s and saw 57 near the bridge. Saw this boat land a fish near the bridge, sorry if I crowded you. That was not my intent. I wasn’t catching anything up north so I ran down to see if the dock was in under the bridge (it’s not). Started marking fish and gave it a try but they didn’t like my menu.
Anyway, no fish for the solo crew of the Kattywampus today but enjoyed the sun and southern part of the lake.
On the way back, just north of Diamond Island I came across two dead turkeys floating in 415 feet of water. Never seen such a thing. Anyone ever heard of this bizarre circumstance?
Still new to the board so thanks for all the info you regulars put out there.

Definitely two turkeys.
I did see an alarming amount of cormorants though.
