Post by TruViking »

Missed the morning bite @ Converse, but leaving now for th4e Bay to feed the Salmon dinner., Shot in the dark, but anyone back in from today or yesterday with any info? We've had some warm weather, so wondering if any patterns have noticeably changed?
thanks

ImageTook off out of Westport (docks are not in) about 8am. Found 40.5 degree water in kingsland bay south west of
Point Bay Marina. Had are 1st if 2 releases on planer board and 2 colors of lead on a pins minnow. Lead got hung up in line release and snapped off 😭. Made a couple more passes to try and get my lure back to no avail. So we turned west and set our sites on split rock when the starboard rigger fired just off of Thompson point. Black and purple speedy shiner 27ft down. My sons first laker he loved it and wants to know when we can go again.

Thanks for the reports.

We fished up north 04/11. Launched at Mallets, no docks, then hit the mouth of the lamoille. One other boat with planers out. My boy had one hit.

Headed out past he bike path into the broad lake. Saw several other boats. Fished the drop off north of sunset island. LOTS of fish on the sonar. No takers. Enjoyed the sun and being on the water for the first time since November.

Brought boat south to a Buddys house. May launch out of Chimney Point tomorrow. Any intel down that way? Docks in?
