I really wanted to be out there Saturday. It was my son's (Perchbait) 21st birthday and he wanted to go fishing. Unfortunately I'd had my 2nd shingles shot Thursday afternoon and it kicked my butt for a few days. I got to spend most of the day in bed with the chills. Hoping to get out this Saturday.

I'm going to have to get a grill for the boat. Those pics always make me hungry!! Thanks for sharing, Matt!

Give a man a fish, and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he'll eat like a king in his boat for a lifetime.

Another GREAT day on Reelax, though catching was slow. We found a couple, and some warm water, but few wanted to play. Matt, you sell the duck but skipped over your perfectly cooked venison backstrap! Maybe someday we can open a BBQ joint and name it Reelax! Best news was that the new planer lines worked brilliantly! Fathead was right. Heck, that, and fishing in short sleeves in the afternoon before the winds turned back on! GREAT day. Thanks again!

Love the pictures Matt. No matter how the fishing is, the grill always seems to produce!! I hope to get back on the lake on Saturday. Going solo, so might not get too many pictures to share. I'll have to see how the winds are. Tight lines all!
