58 hours on the water over 5 days with albeit hot but great weather and water conditions helps immensely. Being able to go anywhere and not worry about being blown off the water. We did get into quite a pack of little ones down south that went nuts for awhile. That there helped the numbers. Obviously we were looking for big ones but couldn't help but have some fun catching the young ones.Reelax wrote:Wow. Wow. Wow... what a weekend... 64 salmon! You guys got it dialed in!!!
Way to showcase the fishery...

Re: My LCI
The "picture" that your advice creates is worth a thousand words. By returning to "the" spot from different angles allows you to stay with aggressive fish and compensate for currents, light conditions, tuning spoons, etc. etc. I don't mean to step on your comments, but they are perfect and never posted here before, to my knowledge. Thank you. /JimTayCon wrote: Here at home fishing winni this spring. It was a lot of hide and seek with the salmon. Find em then catch em. Frustrating at times. It may not last long and I tried to move with the fish as best as possible. I'd start with long runs find some and immediately shorten the runs sometimes to only a couple hundred yards hitting a spot at different angles. So I took that mindset to Champlain.

Taycon,
We use to do a photo of the year contest. The photo of Taylor sitting in the live well looking at her phone is an absolute classic and the best fishing photo i have seen in years.
