It warms my heart to announce that our very own Phantom has hit the salmon board hard today... 9+ lb monster weighed in and currently 1st place... Congratulations Jeremy and crew on a great start!!!!

My daughter may have hooked the lake record this morning. A neighboring boat got a show as I went ass over tea kettle trying keep her line clear of the other rods and grab the net. The fish tried to do a lap around the boat going airborne twice and racing at the boat. Tried netting it as it came back out from under the boat and it cut the leader off on the side rigger cable. I had to sit for a few minutes to stop shaking realizing what she hooked. She went silent for an hour. Finally saying "I want my lure back".
So if anyone hooks a slob salmon that may be hanging out near town farm with a purple and silver lure in it's lip give me a shout. :)

Awesome fish!!! And awesome story Taycon! Those are the things that keep us going back! That drive of never knowing what will happen on the water is one of the strongest pulls I’ve ever felt in life! It’s what hooks us and makes us avid fishermen and woman, Keep at it!

Like it’s close to official...

Fathead drove Team Phantom to the biggest Salmon on the lake for the 2020 LCI.

Great showing Jeremy and crew!! :shock:

You deserved team also with the best 2 fish, but them slimmmmers are running big this year.. too bad a log can win a derby :roll:
