No registration, no fee. Just show up at point bay marina for weighin... I think it is 1pm... nov 2nd... rain date nov 3rd.

There is a Trophy you will get your name on if you win... everyone is welcome... just bring food!

Search Forum for shootout and you will find the official rules... sorry no youth category, but it would be cool if a young person won!!

Fish on!

There is power available off the bath house just bring your own cord and remember to take it home.

There are a couple park charcoal grills.

Starting to look at the forecast .....looking good so far.

https://www.windfinder.com/forecast/dia ... _champlain

Got Surprise out of Mothballs and got a float in Friday with Carl "Da Boat" Petri. Hasn't run since January 7th and the 90 E-tec fired on the touch of the key. Lowrance gps/sonar with Raymarine autopilot ran flawless.

Felt great to back in the living room.

Boated a number of lakers. One salmon and a Masterclass Cisco. All clean and nice fish. Saw Kenny Clark at the ramp out shaking his boat to get his son Pat back out looking for another Shootout winner for this year. Met Sam from Maine who will be hunting.

Look to see you all Saturday

Stay safe & Have Fun

SATURDAY...Light and variable winds, becoming south 5 to 10 knots
in the afternoon. Waves nearly calm, building to around 1 foot in
the afternoon.

The lake is now 95.7 feet which is 1.5 ft higher from a month ago. Converse is in good shape!

My daughter is in the State Volleyball final Saturday at St. Mikes against CVU. Luckily it's at 5 pm instead of 1 pm. when they played and won it last year. They won their semifinal match last night against Mt. Mansfield.

See you at the BBQ Jason!
