Randy, any news on the shootout date for this fall....?

Hey Gang,

Where has the year gone? My last float was January 7.

Guess it's time to contact Todd at Point Bay and get a permit from Tammy at Vt. Fish & Wildlife.

Saturday November 2 with alternate Sunday 3.

Last year we used the alternate date as the weather was too windy for the Saturday. Everyone was happy with that and we will use that again if necessary. Keep watch on this website for any announcement.

I very much look forward to the Shootout Year 11 and the start of Fall and the hunt for Cold Water salmon and trout. Feel the Pull.....Fish On!

cant wait to get back to champ,we had a blast last year,im winterizing the camper and boat out at the big pond next week then ill be home to get the poor neglected small boat cleaned up,running and ready to go to champ.

Randy... last years backup worked great!!!! Like Jim Shocky always says SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY...

I think we even picked up a boat or 2 who had filled youth permits already...

Hey Jason! I'm in with 6 lbs of grilled kielbasa from our local smokehouse! Not sure which side of the Lake I'll be headquarters from. The docks at Converse will definitely be easier for Matt. But, get out early, and I'll buy you guys an adult beverage!
