Kirk,

I don't believe it was weighed or measured. That was the year Randy had to attend a funeral and missed the Shoot-Out. Bill weighed Ben's fish and mine. I am not sure if we weighed yours.

Clearly you were not the “statistician” in 2014...

Photo is proof! :) Maybe Bill remembers the weight? Randy always recorded the lengths and weights for the shoot-outs. I missed it on yours. I was just the messenger tabulating his recordings.

You seemed to have gotten all your entries listed:) From what i remember most people where distracted from the salmo niger that was entered...

I never recorded the weight/length, thought maybe someone did? Like i said earlier it was smaller than yours so it didnt really matter, but would be nice to be included on the list of people who weighed in fish...

....or ill just have to put my name below dads this year...

Capt Kirk,

Bill didn't recall the weight. Give us an estimate and I will record the fish in the spread sheet.

Good luck in the 11th Shoot-Out!

That is great, glad to hear your bringing your wife... There are usually a few who attend this event..

Chris the Frostbite Shootout is an annual event where we fish all morning and meet at Point Bay Marina by boat to hold a weigh in and BBQ. It is free and there is no registration... Just show up with
food and a fish to weigh.. Unless your like me and have trouble with a big silver in early Nov, and
just bring food....

It is the kick off of our fleet's frostbite season, which is the best time of the year for avid salmon fisherman... Nov,Dec,Jan,Feb,March can bring the best bite and consistent fishing of the year and
once you try it you will be hooked for life..
