Cotton on line

[Fishinpole]

Fished out of Willsboro and the white cotton from the trees all over the line to the point you have to hand line last 20 to 30 ft. Fished from 80 to 20 ft down. Anyone else having the same problem?

problem here in port henry also with all the poplar trees at the campsite. they always been here even casting.

Are you sure it is not water fleas collecting?

You can see the stuff floating on top. Its better in the broad lake.

its white cotton from the poplar trees and it floats and and sticks to your line every june
its even in our yards
