I was fishing alone 2 years ago and had cheaters on both rods..... Fish hit all 4 lures at once!
That was quite the Fire drill!
That was when I decided I needed 2 nets in the boat.

Been there as I usually fish solo in a bigger boat! A few years ago in the middle of Wilsboro Bay I had both rods go off with fish on the down line and the slider on each. It was moderately windy, and my boat was getting pushed around. No autopilot. I was laughing aloud as I managed as best I could, noting that many of the boats closest to me (mostly known to me) wisely opted to give me some room and the four fish all seemed to have differing objectives The radio lit up, but I couldn't respond, steer and fight fish at the same time. I managed to net all 4 (3 salmon and a big laker), and then radioed my gratitude for those who gave me some space. Good memories, but 2 nets wouldn't have helped me!!
That story seems familiar, was it in front of split rock???
It was... between Split and Cannon!
