Converse south to Panton shore - June 9

Launched at Converse and since lake was calm we decided to head south. Set up just south of Scotch Bonnet. We were targeting salmon, so we checked water temps and found 55 degrees around 25'. Bumped our trolling speed to at least 2.5mph on our Fish Hawk. Went 4 for 7 with two decent (3lb?) fish. Caught fish on our planer boards and riggers. No lakers there. After lunch in Westport we trolled north from Basin Harbor and picked up another salmon and our only laker of the trip.

This is only the second time we have fished this area and there has been nothing on the fish finder to indicate salmon are around. Not a lot of marks and not a lot of bait.

The gas dock in Westport is still under water and you can't gas up there right now.

The Converse launch is almost dry. Maybe 1/2" of water remaining. The entry to the parking lot has been smoothed out.
