Looking to head out of converse this Sunday for the first time. Never fished it before. But not new to the game. Any tips or tricks? Thanks in advance

Probably going up on Sat Dan. Will let you know how we do. Matt
Re: Converse
Bring waders to launch. The first 15 feet or so of the dock is under water that is about knee high. That was last Monday and it has rained quite a bit since.
One pair will enable one person to wade onto the dock and grab the boat after it is launched. Second pair is for driver of launch vehicle to get to the boat once it has been launched. (If there are three people or more in the party some can get in the boat before launch.)
The dock itself is very slimy and SLIPPERY in the area where it has been underwater.

The lake level in this pic is about 9” above the present level, but looks pretty much the same.

This was from today. Mind the 1 foot gap between the ramp and the dock.
