Port Douglas newbie

Hello, finally got a boat that will allow me to hit the main lake...

I was looking into going off the Port Douglas launch this Saturday. Any report on the salmon/trout bite in Schuyler area?

laker bite has been good there but my freinds said the salmon bite isnt.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe i will go and give another try at the fill and stave island. I was there last week but didn’t get lucky.
