wishin' i wuz fishin'

Post by mudchuck »

Here it is a very nice calm Friday morning.
And instead of getting the boat in the water for a shakedown and some fishing, I'm stuck here at work, and mother nature isn't going to cooperate with the heavy rains for this afternoon & into the weekend...
Really itching to get out on the water since I put my ice fishing gear away several weeks ago!

Agreed, Keith! Hopefully Perchbait and I will be hitting the Inland Sea tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the forecast is right and the rain lets up after Noon.

Open boat, and rain showers aren't fun...

Been there in my old boat (and in the current one when I wagered against the weatherman a few times) Supposed to be 60 tomorrow. A good set of rain gear and its bearable if the fish are biting, but it can really suck if they arent.

I know the feeling!
Tomorrow looks pretty good.
I'm a big fan of rain gear. Gore-tex is a miracle.
