A Great assembly of Fish Circus Fishing Team Clowns of Ron Winter, Mike Morin today for the LAST Day Of Frostbite Fall Fishing.

We met at Arnold at 9:30 and with a 15 mile south wind elected for a North run.

Water temp in the Bay 37.

Today we went quite a way north before we saw anything starting with a 4.

Truly a beautiful Day, Maybe late October........

I significantly enlarged the picture and (I could be wrong!) I believe those are all alewives not smelt.

Fishy1 ... not a question of "goofed up" . My concern was "matching the hatch" with the right size and shape spoon! In Tamiron's case

The selection preference would be a #2 or MEDIUM (alewife) as opposed to an MP6 (smelt). You are experiencing the same thing casting from shore where you have substituted a "krocodile chartreuse fire wing" as opposed to the standard slimmer Krocodile.

Shape is sometimes critical :)
