Be careful at Converse

Post by tmcaul »

There's a stationary and mostly submerged log about 100' from the launch and directly in your way if you back out of the launch that far. It was visible Sunday (11/25) but with a lot of moisture in the coming week's forecast it may disappear. Better yet, it may be moved by wave and wind action out of the launch area.

There is plenty of room to back away from the dock, shift into forward, and clear the dock. Just be aware.

Keith,

Saw your truck there when we launched around 11 and when we returned around 3. Fished Thompson's Point and then crossed lake to Whallons. Slow bite for us. 3 for 5 with just one salmon and no size to lakers.

We didn’t do great either. One nice salmon and a few smaller ones. A lot of bump runs, and a couple deflating break offs on nice fish. Nice day to be on the water though.
