A first for me

Out this morning for the first time in about a week...Planer boards for a while and caught several small smallies on Rebel fast tracs (none of any size). Picked up and headed to south of Valcour to jig lakers...no luck as it's something i don't usually do. Decided to troll for a while...Bare speedies at varied depths with sliders. caught a couple lakers around 89 ft, then a nice Brown at 60 ft...The first for me was the unorthodox double...Laker on the down lure and smallmouth on the slider...as I said, a first for me. 1 more laker and that was it. All in all an interesting day.

We have had doubles of that type a couple of times... always wonder which fish caused the other. I think though when the fish hits the cheater and it pops it creates the erratic action that the lakers like. Could be vice versa though
