3/30/2018 hit the water again this morning in the rain and met up with scott (channelcat) for some bullhead fishing and carp bowfins and catfishing. very slow day with rain most of the morning and water rising and getting murky. we kept 7 bullhead and 6 yellow perch. the rain is much needed.Image

3/31/2018 hit the water again this morning with a freind joining me, got to our target area where i fished friday but was flooded thsi morning so we searched for another spot up farthur. full moon and 28 degrees but decided to fish at least 4 or 5 hours to see what the sun would do to the water. i didnt toss my sinker and crawler out very far in about 2 fow. getting pecks every 5 minutes but no takers. then i caught one and it had to about a 4 inch bullhead. ugh. but as the morning went on the bite picked up. my freind went left at 9:30 am to try another spot. after 10 am my bite was steady with nice yellow perch and white perch. also caught a tench fish. a nice sunny day brought out lots of fisherman but its to bad the bite was off. i kept 22 nice yellows 2 bullhead and 6 white perch. threw at least 15 back. not a good day for bullhead but worth it for the perch. :)Image

4/2/2018 i got to take alayna fishing today her ist choice was over to my freinds property as the ice went out yesterday . 26 degrees when we got there fished for hour and half no bites so we went up to visit our freinds. 3 pm the sun was out and little wind so i asked alayna if she wanted to go to vt and try our luck she said yes right away. started fishing at 4 pm and the bite was steady till we left at 7 pm. i didnt fish just let her she had a blast. she ended up catching 6 bullhead and lots of yellow perch we kept 19 and tossed many back also caught 3 white perch and she lost what looked like a carp .
here is alayna this morning over to my freinds property.

Looks like a warmer place to fish then you're morning spot. Also more productive.

Matt, that is one happy little girl, and I'm sure one proud Grandpa...Nice perch! From those pix it looks like you were out of the wind there, a big plus. Can't wait for a warm up, want to hit the lake soon, did you say the ice is out in Port Henry and the "bay"???

Fishy1, great stuff. Real heratige being passed on there! Something about putting kids on a good bite, gives as good of a feeling as setting a hook! I have question for ya, are putting those pictures on a home console or lap top before posting them? I've been having issues applying pics from my phone. To many pixels. Had someone mention having them sent back to me then apply but still no cigar. Thanks. A. White

i take my pics for here with a canon eos and download them to my lap top which i can save thousands then thanks to raz i use post image put the ones i want on the forum and just click on forum then when im done with my post i just paste. very simple and its free.. i have the pics on my lap top and post imaged saved. my phone i also take pics just to send them to my contacts immediatly while fishing. my wife bought me a bigger phone which takes great pics so i might just send some of them to my email. hope this helps.
ps some pics were sent to my phone in the past and i had reelax (matt) post them for me but very few
