9-11 Perch and more damm perch
Pam and I hit the Sea about 8:30 and set up right off the cow banksand headed north. nothing much to report but a bunch of white perch! one of the more notable points was we had a perch hit a lure on one side and hit a lure on the other side before I could get to the first rod and had both in it's mouth when we got it in! Fish mounger was also out there and he said go to brown trout colored lures. We did and bang a silver on a #3 bee in bt color and I dropped it at the back of the boat!! It's not the report that I was hoping to post but after not getting out for 3 weeks, it was good to be back on the water

Glad you and Pam got out on the water Kevin. The perch are most everywhere right now. At least you got to see and feel some silver!
Catch and serve with lemon.

I call them tiger trout. It sounds better and non-fishers are impressed when you tell them you boated 36 tiger trouts in one trip!

Paul, they are when your not targeting them(lol). I could have stayed up near camp and caught as many as I wanted. but that's the way it goes!!!

I like that JK...
Tiger Trout! I'll sit in my shanty this winter and fill a bucket with tiger trout.
Hopefully over and over and over!

Never heard 'em called Tiger Trout. Sounds great. Would that make a White Perch an Albino Trout? Just wondering.

My boss and I started calling them tiger trout because that is all he ever caught. It sounded better in the office to the people who had no clue.fishmaster176 wrote:Never heard 'em called Tiger Trout. Sounds great. Would that make a White Perch an Albino Trout? Just wondering.
And yes... The all mighty albino trout. They're taking over the IS!!
Btw, there is a real tiger trout. It's a brown/brookie hybrid...
