400+# white oak stump that all the sudden rolled down a bank on a road I drive every day.. the tree was well over 150 years old when it died and I believe it's been laying dormat for "at least" 60 yrs! It's now again vertical in my slice of paradise.....

I don't hunt any more but enjoy seeing the success of others.
I saw a lot of nice buck pictures this year and I've decided this is my favorite. My cousin Scott...A big CONGRATULATIONS on a sweet buck.
And congrats to all you successful hunters out there this year!Image

OK Andy NOW I gotta hear the story on that cat... Please either post here or text to me... I love stories of obscure critters... I got a pic of a bobcat on my game camera last week right off my driveway.... is that a female or male??

Just wow

Alright Matt here you go. That Cat Was one I caught trapping 3 December's back in what is typically know as a pole set, utilizing a #220 conibare that has to be a minimum of 5' off the ground and a chunk of beaver or venison as lure. HE was the last of a string of around 30 that I had caught in that year and the previous 5 years, 25+ of those were caught while coyote and fox trapping and I had to REALEASE them unharmed!!! Nothing like wrestling a mature bobcat first thing in the am to get the ticker going! The cat pictured was my largest to date kept at 44#s. When I got to the tree his feet where touching the ground and nose was at shoulder level! I released a couple in his class and one giant that would have gone well over #50. Fur-Fish-Game brother....
